Chattahoochee Hill Country Parks

Parks are a part of our nature, here in the city of Chattahoochee Hill Country. They offer a thousand acres of flora and fauna; miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails; and a place of adventure and retreat for residents and visitors.  We invite you to learn how you can help make them a lasting impression.

:: Cochran Mill Park :: Hutcheson Ferry Park :: Rico Park
Cochran Mill ParkCochran Mill Park offers nearly 800 acres of primarily natural landscape with equestrian, nature trails, and wildlife habitat.

The land dates back to the 1800s when Cheadle Cochran settled on the land located between the towns of Palmetto and Campbellton in South Fulton County, GA. Cochran farmed the land and ran a gristmill.

Hutcheson Ferry Park

Hutcheson Ferry Park, offers 103 acres of rolling hills, pastureland, and stunning rock outcroppings. The land was saved from development in 2003 through the Conservation Fund and is today, a favorite place for community gatherings.

Rico Park

Rico Park, comprised of two locations within a half mile of each other, offers a softball field and a recreational area behind the Recreation Center / City Hall building.

The recreational area was the perfect location for the 2008 City Birthday Bash, a community-wide event to celebrate the City's first birthday and to raise funds for the City's Public Safety Dept.
